The park is also famous for its Afro-Alpine flora, meadows and grasslands punctuated by Giant Lobelia and Red Hot Pokers. Set off for Geech, this will take between 5-6 hours. After about 1½ hours see the Jinnbar River and falls, cross the river later in the day. And then, ascend for about an hour to Geech, which is full of Giant Lobelias. The scenery is wonderful, there is spring water nearby and you can easily buy eggs and lamb if anyone fancies a barbecue. Leave out the bones for the Lammergeyer, which take them to a great height, dropping them to crack the bones from which it extracts the marrow.

It is situated approximately 48km North east of Debark town and its plateau hang at an altitude of 3600m above sea level. The mean annual temperature is 7.7 degree Celsius. This camp site is not accessible by transport. (However half way from Sankaber campsite is accessible by vehicle). This camp site comprise of the scenic Mountain range impressive escarpment superb view points and Mountain submit such as, Immetgogo, Seha, Kedadit and Gidergot and endemic mammals, birds and plant species.

Set off with a lunch box to climb nearby Immetgogo – the trip takes about 1 ½ hours, but from there can trek to other viewpoints. From Immetgogo see all the surrounding countryside and walk to Saha and Qadadit to get other perspectives. In Qadadit you can expect to see lots of Gelada baboons. Return to Geech, and late in the afternoon; walk towards the Jinnbar Falls to get a great view of the sunset.

Today, walk to Chenek, about 5-6 hours. Cross valleys before coming to Chenek, this is situated on the escarpment among plenty of Giant Lobelias and wonderful views of the lowlands. Here one may be able to see the elusive Walia Ibex.

It is located approximately 58km North-East of Debark town hanging at an altitude of 3900m above sea level. Its annual mean temperature is 8.8 degree Celsius and accessible by vehicle. This camp site comprises of the scenic Mountain range impressive escarpment superb view points and Mountain submits such as Mount Buhit and varieties of plants and animal species.

Today after breakfast Walk around Chenek and drive back to Gondar for the overnight stay.

Overnight: Hotel

Today fly back to Addis Ababa and get transferred into your hotel. And in the evening you will have a farewell dinner in one of the traditional Restaurant in Addis Ababa with traditional Ethiopian's food and cultural dances together with us.
